Jason Simmons provides professional farrier services focused on balance, movement, soundness, and long-term performance.
With a lifelong background in the horse industry, Jason understands what it takes to build and maintain a sound equine athlete. He began competing in the cutting horse industry at the age of nine and qualified for numerous major events throughout his youth. His competitive career culminated in earning the title of 2021 Colorado High School Cutting Champion. Jason later competed on a collegiate team and has experience training, competing, and working with cutting horses, reined cow horses, ranch horses, and other performance horses.
Jason furthered his education through ELPO Farrier School, where he studied equine anatomy, biomechanics, hoof balance, and movement. He has also continued his education by working alongside respected farriers and horsemen within the industry.
As a competitor, trainer, and farrier, Jason understands how proper hoof care impacts the entire horse—from balance and movement to comfort, confidence, soundness, and performance.
Jason works with horses of all ages, breeds, and disciplines, from pleasure horses to competitive athletes. Every horse is evaluated as an individual, with hoof care based on conformation, workload, movement, environment, and long-term goals.
